This card was so much fun to make and super easy. Plus your getting a sneak peek at the new Stampin'Up! Catalog that will be launching on May 4th so May the force be with you. This beautiful Pansy is from the Pansy Patch Bundle. If you would also like to get paper and cute little bees it is in a Suite called Pansy Petals. I can't get enough of this card and will for sure be making more. I started with Fresh Freesia ( new In Color) is this such a pretty Purple. First cut one at 11" x 4 1/4" score it at 5 1/2 in you will make a tic mark at the 6 3/4" . Take a ruler and bone folder or your Stampin' Up! paper trimmer. You will line it up at the tic mark and go to the corner. Folding down on the score line. I then ran the front of the card opened in a Embossing Folder that is retiring soon but will be replacing it with Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder this carry over to the new catalog. I then cut a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4 " from Fresh Freesia which I inked around the edges with Fresh Freesia. Then I took my Soft Succelent ( new In Color) cut it at 3 1/2 " x 3 1/2" . I used Very Vanilla for the last boxed but you could also use Basic White that is cut at 3" x 3" I also did a small inking around the edges with Fresh Freesia. I then layered all the square together. The inside piece I used Basic White but you could use Very Vanilla and that is cut at 5 1/4 " x 4". I used a scrap piece of paper and cut it to fit my Thank You sentiment which I believe was 3/4" . I then used Banners Pick A Punch to make the flag. I had to move the banner after the picture to more of a up angle to fit into the envelope. I took the new In color ribbon Fresh Freesia and tied it around the front of the card so it would add a little something to it. The big Pansy is made for Fresh Freesia which is the back color, Basic White the front, Rich Razzle-Berry for the middle, Highland Heather for the outside pieces and the little teardrop looking center is made from Pale Papaya ( new In Color). The leaves for the big Pansy is made from Soft Succulent the top layer and Evening Evergreen( new In Color) for the under layer. The small Pansy is made from Basic White and Fresh Freesia , The stem is Soft Succulent. I used Stampin' Dimensionals on the big Pansy to pop it up some and then put the small Pansy behind. You find all the stuff here https://ShannonHinders.stampinup.net after May 4th. The Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimenionals, Rich Razzle-Berry, Very Vanilla, Basic White and Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder are available now.
